Just a little follow-up from my previous teaser post for Xander and Maks from a couple of weeks ago! Pretty darn cute right?!

When Ally brought out what appeared to be some sort of dinosaur egg, I may have raised an eyebrow. But it turns out, a plaster mold of a mom’s belly during pregnancy makes a great prop for newborn photos! I thought it was pretty terrific and encourage all ladies out there with growing bellies (unless you just ate a big turkey dinner) to see Ally for their own one-of-a-kind mold!
Sarah is still fresh from the oven at just three weeks old and how cool is this? I love all the texture and that Sarah sort of looks like she just hatched from an egg. It’s just too bad we couldn’t persuade her big sister, Amelia, to get in on the action! Maybe we’ll try again when they have a brother??? I kid!
I shall refrain from making ‘Mr.Wright’ jokes!
I’m extra glad we rescheduled this shoot from last week to yesterday! Sunny and 20 degrees? Thank you very much! I don’t know if it was the sunshine going to my brain or wha, but it almost felt like summer. Maybe it was the bead of sweat clinging to my forehead…yes, definitely the bead of sweat.
Jodie, Stacey, Sophie, and Kahlua made for excellent models! Thank you Wright Family for clammering over rocks, laying in the grass, and going deaf in the car
all in the name of family portraits. Here are a few of my favorites…

sometimes with family portraits you have to settle for seeing the rear end of a dog
