Where’d you get that body from?!

HELLO BRIDES!  Specifically my 2008-2009 brides!  I am just DYING to know where all you fine looking women bought your dresses?? If you don’t mind sharing, it would be awesome if you left a comment below. I am just curious as to whether or not brides are getting their gowns locally, or abroad.  And if locally, what boutique had the dress that BLEW your mind!?

P.S. if you didn’t have a great experience with a store, please don’t share the story here, let’s just have a little fun chat about gowns and all the other girly stuff we get to do for weddings!

Ireland Part Deux

I’m a little too lazy to write all the juicy details, but here are some more photos from my February trip to Ireland with my friend Jo…for once this was not for a wedding, but puuure pleasure.

Enjoy!

Here I am, acting the fool, at the Giant’s Causeway…

Lastly, a snap of me having my first taste of Guinness…directly from the factory no less.  It was gross.

Krista + Joe…{Punta Cana wedding}

Here I sit, blinds closed, dogs entangled at my feet, trying to ignore the rain and general disgustingness that is Newfoundland weather. Actually I would like to point out since I’m not from here but rather, ‘around the bay’ where the sun is always shining, that St.John’s has statistically the worst weather in Canada…not Newfoundland, just St.John’s.  If you’re ever playing Pub Quiz and there’s a question involving the worst weather in Canada, you’ll thank me for writing this. Disclaimer: don’t ever start playing Pub Quiz unless you want to wake up one afternoon not knowing what day it is or how long you’ve been sitting slumped over in the same spine-curving position for.  It’s just that good.

So now you’re wondering where this is going and why you’re even still here I bet!  As always, I have a point, regardless of how long it takes me to get there…At the end of March I was in the Dominican for Krista and Joe’s wedding (see previous post here) and man what a good time.  Sun, ocean, pool, swim-up bars, and constant food.  Oh and did I mention SUN??? Not snow, sleet, hail, fog, or rain. Just SUN. I should stop talking about it now before the drool clogs my keyboard.

It was worth the trip, even if there was snow on the palm trees, just to have met and made so many new friends.

On with the photos!

And then the girls *kicked* off the night…hardee har har *snort* I’m a riot….

Me and Krista as taken by her uncle. Thanks guys for such an awesome trip! Seriously, you can hang out with me anytime :)

Krista + Joe…Punta Cana {pre-wedding portraits}

PHEW!  Two weeks to get a blog post up isn’t an exhorbent amount of time right?I guess it is if you’re the bride and groom (or the family and friends) who are DYING to see photos!

In March a fantastic group of family and friends met up in the Dominican Republic for an awesome wedding at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort…and somehow I managed to get invited too! Nice one Lori (I am patting myself on the back).  Actually Krista grew up with one of my past grooms, Justin, who you may recall from one of the most awesomest weddings I’ve ever been to! I figured that if Krista and Joe were anything like Justin and Tiffany, well, we’d be rockin’ out in the DR :)

I have another post coming with actual wedding photos, but for now I wanted to share a few of my faves from the pre-wedding family portraits we shot on the beach.  There were a lot of family attending so if I’ve missed someone in this post, don’t worry, you were documented and your photos will be in the final gallery!

Krista and Joe’s boy Jaiden, um hello, could he BE anymore like his dad??

Put a bed on the beach? Why not!

I love that you can see his little teeth! So cute…
