The Christ child is born!

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:8-14

Peace and blessings from Lori & Sydney (oh and Jacob). This was Sydney this morning wearing her fancy Christmas gown that her nanny and poppy sent from Florida. Some of those presents are even hers!

And this is my stocking that I’ve had since I was a little kid. I always complained that it didn’t hold enough stuff, but this year it came with a flask of vodka…my how times have changed!

Syd and Jacob heading out on their Christmas morning walk! Jacob is looking for a forever home, if you think there’s a place in your home for this beautiful and well behaved man please call Heavenly Creatures.

These images were taken with my Olympus point-and-shoot.

Amy + Kris…teaser

It’s Christmas and this week is all about the birth of our Lord, but today on the blog is about Amy and Kris.  Here are a couple little teaser shots from yesterday’s alley shoots;  thank you to Charla whom dutifully pointed the video light at just the right angle the entire day!

Gale force winds and pelting rain couldn’t damper the perma-grin Amy carried all day; she was SO much fun…seriously, Amy, you were glowing :) More photos to come after Christmas.

Happy Tibb’s Eve everyone!

Angela + Todd…teaser

If you’re ever in need of great weather on a wedding day I believe the key is prayer and tweeting about it! Before leaving the house this morning for Angela and Todd’s beautiful wedding at The Beach House, I tweeted (twittered?) essentially begging for the rain to hold off…and it did!

I’m prepping for my last wedding of the year so I don’t have much time to post, BUT I had to put up a few teaser photos for Angela who I can imagine is eager to see a few samples!  Oh and plus, I really like these shots :)

Enjoy and Merry Christmas y’all!

and Va Va Voom!
