I’m off to NYC in a mere two sleeps to meet the famous Mike Colon, but before I leave I wanted to share a few delicious weddings from the past couple of weeks!  You’ll have to wait until I’m back to see the full posts, but for now enjoy this tasty sample!

Do I?  I DO!

Brad + Andrea {married Oct 9, 2009}

How are you my neglected blog readers??  Never fear!  I’m back and boy do I have some radtastic posts in store for you.

Firstly, check out Brad and Andrea who celebrated two weekends ago, albeit in the rain, but still! It was a terrific day all around. I mean, come on, when you have a bride and groom that are utterly unphased by buckets of rain and wind that could whip paint off a barn, you just gotta rock it out!

I started out the day chillin’ with the boys…

The War of the Roses wages on!

Love this shot of Andrea being touched up by a bridesmaid…

Someone is happy to be getting married…

Love this photo of Andrea and her Dad in the Cadillac seconds before the ceremony…

And then as Mr & Mrs!

You can’t tell by the smiles, but it was raining hard, windy, and fah-reezing!

From sweet to sassy!

And to end the day, this awesome F1.4 portrait (for you camera techy nerds out there) of Brad that I just love! One of my fave groom shots from the season. Thanks for being a great *model* Brad!

Martin + Renee {married Oct 3, 2009}

It’s funny, I spend so long talking about a wedding with a couple and then BAM! all of a sudden they’re dressed to the 9s and saying their vows.  Seriously, where does the time go?

We’d met a couple of times, shared lots of emails, laughs, and when the big day came, we were ready. Seeing Renee marry the man of her dreams, in the church of her dreams, wearing the dress of her dreams, was pretty freaking fantastic. She smiled all day and I loved catching those smiles…I hope you love seeing them.

P.S. Everyone give Renee a big hug for completing her first half-marathon recently!

Holla! Getting married is pretty exciting…

Married in style!

Renee really wanted me to get Martin’s expression when he first saw her coming down the aisle, I think the look on his face is calm like “Yup, she’s hot and she’s mine”.

I was extremely lucky to catch this sweet moment as Renee walked out of the church as a married woman…

…and straight into the arms of her man!

Sexifying the car…

While the girls were being silly on the street…

..the boys were having a good time of their own at Yellowbelly!

Gower Street, where they first met!

I love this location! I first scouted this spot last winter for the workshops I was running with my cousin, Charla, and even though I found the area I have to give her credit for originally discovering this vantage point. Isn’t it stunning??

First it was clinging to the edge of a church, then it was off to clinging to the Fort Amherst ruins! So brave considering the wind was rockin’ us at about a million miles/hour.  Check out this sneak peek from last week of Renee!

Lastly, greeting family and friends for an intimate affair at Yellowbelly! mmmm great food :)

Thanks SO much Martin and Renee!  I hope your night was as sweet as the day was special.
