Chris + Nikki {and Zach!}

Oh Nikki you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind! Hey Nikki!

If you don’t know that song then you are officially way cooler than I am. And if you don’t know why those lyrics are applicable than read on…

Alas, even after Nikki threw two buckets of water out the back door to ward off evil (ie rain), those tiny tidbits of terror still made an appearance last Saturday during Chris and Nikki’s big day; of course that didn’t stop us from rocking it out in Petty Harbour, downtown, at the airport, and with a gaggle of cheerleaders at Clovelly…I love it when a good idea comes together!  All day we weren’t sure if the squad could make it (see reference to evil rain) but when we pulled up and saw dozens of red ribbons and itty bitty skirts, well I knew there was either a Hilary Duff concert near by, OR the cheerleaders made it out afterall!! Rah! Rah!  I’m such a nerd. I know.

The engraved pin her grandfather gave her grandmother when they first started ‘courting’…

In Newfoundland when you see the sun, you run outside as fast as you can in heels to get the shot!

Chris and Nikki’s boy, Zach, did such a great job walking down the aisle by himself! I would’ve bolted out the door.

So funny, Zach was flaked out on the steps during family photo time…he said something along the lines of ‘I want to go home! Home is so nice’.

Seeking refuge downtown from before mentioned evil rain…

The socks Chris’s mom bought for all the boys…

Nikki is sooooo not the serious type! Which is why I threw this in for a little irony…

This is more her style!

Nikki and Zach spend so much time at the airport sending Chris off to work, that we had to include it…

When I asked Chris what he does at the airport when he’s waiting for his flight, he said ‘drink at the bar!’ so we did!  And this is Nikki’s reaction two seconds after her very first shot of Screech! Ewww…

Last but definitely not least!  Nikki coaches a LOT of cheerleaders and they all came out to send Chris and Nikki off to the reception in serious style!

Thank you guys so much!  I loved all the locations, the bridal parties, the cheerleaders, your smiles; everything.

Pictage galleries down today!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know ALL of the Pictage event galleries are down today!  Trust me, I’ve called them, but unfortunately they are not open on Sundays.  As soon as they open and deal with the issue I will make an announcement.

I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience :)

Justin + Andrea…why sailing is awesome

Long may your big jib draw!  Sailing reference? Check. Now on with the show!

Justin and Andrea had an un-freaking-believably gorgeous day last Saturday!  Who knew that it would be sailing weather in mid-September in Newfoundland? Not me!  Not only did the sunshine mean I got to hang out with some cool people on a cool boat, but it also meant I didn’t have to find an indoor location to cram in TWENTY TWO members of their bridal party…check out that church shot if you don’t believe me!

I started out the day chilling with the bridesmaids in Andrea’s downtown pad that had the most beautiful light.  The ladies got busy checking out the dresses, and yes ok, I can admit that I setup the first shot! It was worth it and I regret nothing…

All the ladies!

I grabbed this shot of Justin’s parents going into the church before the ceremony, his mom was glowing!

And this little man was the ringbearer!

Check out all those groomsmen!

During family photos I snapped this shot of Andrea, her mom, and her grandmother; three generations!

Justin having a laugh…

All the boys!

With so many people around it was a challenge to sneak in a few solo shots of the new couple, but we managed :)

Representin’ Newfoundland and Tanzania!

A quick jaunt around the harbour to see the guys in action…I would’ve loved to have had the entire bridal party aboard but there wasn’t enough room for everyone AND to get the sails up! But we got the one woman aboard that truly mattered…isn’t Andrea stunning??

And then a sail dropped on Justin and his bestman and I thought they were going overboard; I don’t think anyone on board was keen about going after them in that harbour water *gross*…

Keep your head down or you may just lose it!

From the boat to the bus! I would like to point out it took very little prompting to get Justin on that pole…

I have to say Justin’s bestman did a stand-up job on his toast, I’m pretty sure everyone had a good laugh!

And finally, a little scuff around the dancefloor with a flowergirl!  Blue Eyed Blonde did a great job as the band!

Justin and Andrea, I hope your night rocked as much as the rest of the day!  You guys made my job pretty easy and you also made a little dream come true by letting me aboard your sailboat (and letting me steer, albeit for only about 2 seconds until I was distracted).  Thank you a hundred times over.

Terry + Suzanne…tangled up with you

Terry and Suzanne? So hot. So cool. So fun.  I don’t want to get all mushy about the whole thing, but I had a GREAT day with these two.  I even caved to a little peer pressure;  beer in the vintage car while riding around with no seatbelts…that’s right, we’re superbad. The day was sweet, silly, emotional, romantic, and maybe even a little dangerous considering the locations we chose. What a time…what a time…

I wanted this first image to reflect the inner Suzanne, the sweet one, the one who I think said ‘golly’ on the phone with me at one point haha

And then there’s Terry looking a little tense while throwing some of that ol’ stuff in his hair (as the b’ys called it)…I think it’s funny how his reflection is so serene but his body is contorted. Don’t ask me why! What do you think?

Chicks dig guys who cry…

The new Mrs. in her getaway car!

This next shot is going into my Groomsmen Hall of Fame. Two seconds later Terry’s face made contact with terra firma…

The ladies. Not quite as dramatic, but much prettier!

This next set of images was taken in and around Fort Amherst; Terry scouted some kickbutt locations beforehand.  Hello hot stuffs…

If you gotta have Signal Hill in the shot, I think this is the way to do it…

Suzanne is magnetic…

I think this is my fave shot from the day…

Last but not least, a little love for the bestman…

THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!  We’ll be chatting soon :)
