CLARIFY your life + models needed

Hi Blog, I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback just in the past few days since I announced my latest workshop collaboration with Charla.ca: CLARIFY.  There are a lot of budding photographers in Newfoundland who are thirsty for knowledge and we’d LOVE to meet them all!

This is a two-day intermediate workshop directed at wedding photographers!  We’ll teach you fail-safe tips on making your couples look their best and all the nitty gritty juicy bits on client relations and marketing.  No fluff here. Please note: owning an SLR and knowing how to set your aperture, shutter, and ISO is a must!

We are also looking for an actual bride and groom to model for this workshop!  You can be getting married or married for 10 years; we just want YOU in your wedding garb for a couple hours on May 9th!  If you or someone you know is interested please CONNECT WITH ME: clarify@lori-moss.com

Don-E & MaryAnn: Engaged!

Who rocks my world? These guys! You may recognize Don-E and MaryAnn from such blog posts as ‘Don-E…no stereotypes‘ which was a covershoot I shot for Current back in January. These two have chemistry coming out the yinyang and I was completely blessed to photograph their engagement!

I don’t think I have to tell you, Blog,  that these two are not just photogenic, but completely, 100%, smitten kittens!  They told me before the shoot that they are totally committed to one another and love to fill their days with music, laughter, and their one year old pug, Fergs.  We took their love to the streets yesterday and ended up cuddling on the couch (I wasn’t cuddling, you know what I mean!).  There are hundreds of hilarious and touching images that I couldn’t post, but here are some of my faves that I had to share:

The Announcement: Clarify!

It’s official!  Today is the launch of our second workshop: CLARIFY.  What do I mean by ‘our’ you may ask? In February myself and another fantastic local photographer, Charla.ca (who happens to be my cousin) ran our first ever workshop series (exciteYOU) that was directed towards beginner photographers.  It was a complete success and we met so many great up-and-comers we thought why not expand a little?

Our newest project, Clarify, is a two-day intensive workshop tailor-made for intermediate wedding photographers; we’ll be teaching very specific techniques to make your brides and grooms look their best, as well as showing you the right (and wrong!) way to relate to clients!  We also have two cool sponsors this time around: NL Camera Imaging and Totally Rad Actions.  Charla and I both give these companies our stamp of approval and they’ve been lovely enough to donate products to be given away to workshop participants.
